The Charming Skill: Magik Spells
Magik Spells or 'Charming' is a skill set which enables you to learn, chant and cast magik spells of a specific type. You learn the magik spells automatically as your skill rises. To cast a magik spell you must chant the name of the spell, wait for equilibrium, then cast your magik spell, by typing CAST, followed by your target. Typing SPELLS followed by a specific magik spell name gives you all the information you could possibly desire about a spell. Sometimes you may be afflicted by the confusion curse which prevents your charms from working. Type BREATHE and, after ten seconds, you will break out of the curse.

HEALHAND Magik Spell
Heal health depending on your skill.
WERELIGHT
Summons a sprite of light to illuminate your way.
INVISIBLE
To cloak yourself in invisibility.
FIREBOLT
Shoot a firebolt at an enemy in adjacent location.
LEVITATE
To levitate a few feet into the air.
AURA
To wreath yourself in an aura of protection.
ICEWALL Spell
Creates a wall of ice to hinder enemies.
LOCATE
Locating players, items and creatures about Avalon.
HANDBURN
Primary charming attack, burning an enemy.
SPY Magik
Cast in a direction to spy through obstructions.
HEARING Magik Spell
To restore hearing to a target, or yourself.
DEAF
To deafen a target, or yourself.
FEEBLE Magik Spell
Weakens your enemies, causing them to drop possessions.
SHIELD
Conjurs a shield of arrow deflection about you.
PENTACLE
Charms up a pentacle of protection about you.
SIGHT
To give sight to a target, or yourself.
BLIND Magik Spell
To blind a target, or yourself.
CLOAK
To shroud yourself or another in invisibility.
NULLIFY
Nullifies magical defences about an enemy.
FIREBALL
Sprays enemies or adjacent locations with fire.
DIAGNOSIS Magik
Performing a self-diagnosis of your afflictions.
COLDCONE
Brings about a cone of cold to freeze your enemies.
WEB
Smothers a foe in a magical web of constraint.
FREEZING
Freezing your opponent with an icy aura.
REVELATION
To reveal astral, demonic and ethereal presences.
SLEEP Magik Spell
To send a target into a deep slumber.
ANTIDOTE
Antidote to many afflictions and poisons.
FIREWALL Magik Spells
Raises a wall of fire to harm enemies passing by.
DEFLECTION
Deflects the attentions of sensors and seeing stones.
BUGBANISH
Banishes rune bugs that hold your loyalty.
SPARKLE
Cascades sparkling stars onto you to cure webbing.
BRAND Magik Spells
To brand a target with the mark of the Dark Lord.
DISGUISE
To wreath yourself in an illusionary disguise.
PHYSICAL
Charm of physical restoration and resurrection.
COMPULSION
Placing your foe in a weak state of mind.
TELEPORT
To create a teleport pill of your current location.
ASTRALBOND Magik
To trace a crown of astral bonding about your head.
BLASTDOOR
Blasting open a locked door.
TRUELOCATION
Locating everybody in Avalon at once.
PROJECTION Magik
To project a ritual to a specific foe.
SUMMON
To summon a player or loyal creature to you.
CONSTRICTION Constricting movement of your foes in an area.
TRAVERSAL Spell
Travelling to a distant player after time.
